CAI has successfully completed and delivered well over 100 community-wide parcel mapping projects throughout New England. Ranging in size from 180 parcels in Monroe, Massachusetts to 20,500 parcels in Framingham, Massachusetts. The parcel maps show the correct size, shape, and location of all land tracts within the municipality.
Most maps are prepared using custom aerial photography, GPS ground control, planimetric base mapping, and thorough property record research, all resulting in a robust GIS parcel coverage ready to use with ARC/INFO or ArcView software. Additionally, some projects are completed using topographic or orthophoto land bases.
What sets CAI apart from everyone else is our attention to and concern for property line integrity.
By reconciling boundary line source data evidence from surveys and deeds to the physical evidence thereof as shown on the land base, CAI compiles parcels in a diligent, accurate manner that guarantees that the parcel fabric created will never have to be redone.
Digital parcel maps created in this way represent the best spatial framework for a municipal GIS. As analytical queries are developed, subsequent decision making and information management will be reliable and trustworthy. Parcel coverages created by CAI are the best available.
