Originally founded in 1985, CAI now provides a multitude of services to nearly 300 municipal clients throughout New England. The firm has completed well over 100 municipality-wide parcel mapping projects and several hundred planning maps. Parcel mapping personnel have nearly a century of experience in preparing parcel maps throughout New England.
Since 1989, CAI has been providing municipal GIS services ranging from the system conception and design through implementation, database creation, conversion, and linking, to training, support, maintenance, and system management. The firm has successfully completed over 250 GIS projects, a sampling of which are outlined in our GIS Projects and References.
In 1998, CAI established its Public Works Information Management™ department specializing in the collection and conversion of municipal infrastructure features. Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and GIS tools are used to provide the necessary information to assist managers in more efficient, cost-effective operations management.
